To the first question, I would say just one thing, You are an International agent, if you have International listings. You can call your past clients, your new clients and re-brand yourself. By doing that you will get more exposure, people will think about you, call you and ask you for help. The markets are down? What about the second home markets?
That leads us to the second question, If your past clients and your new clients know that YOU can help them, they will call you, they will ask for YOUR help. You will get more listings LOCALLY, you will search for second home properties for your clients and stay active while other agents just lament themselves that nothing is working. By keeping busy you give the right impression to your clients... YOU are the Realtor of choice...

Do You Have an Effective Long-Term Campaign?
A recent study was released that showed over 90% of ALL Homebuyers and Sellers will begin their research from 1-5 YEARS prior to making a move! Here’s the challenge for you—do you have a 5-year “Long-Term” campaign in place for all types of Buyers and Sellers? The honest answer from most agents is… NO!
What do I mean by effective? To be of value, your marketing campaigns need to be specific for each type of prospect. If a buyer starts getting seller emails or information about selling a home, you will lose that buyer prospect. The buyer needs to receive buyer specific information.
This is the same for sellers, for sale by owners, first time homebuyers, investors, and for the second home market (Resort/Vacation/Retirement), etc... Keep in mind; this should be 1-5 years in length for EACH campaign to be effective.
If you put one in place today—you are setting yourself up for long-term success!
