In addition to our recent telephone conversation, I wanted to follow-up in writing to let you know of our appreciation of the services David and Gina Herrera provided on our recent trip to Panama. Their professionalism and excellent customer services began with our first conversation with David.

 

As you know, David is Panamanian by birth and still has family in Panama City.  He speaks the language, understands the culture, and I believe between he and his family, they know about everyone in Panama City. Gina is very fluent in Spanish as well, having lived in Panama for several years.   David always listened carefully to what we wanted to see and do while there, what we weren't interested in, offered advice and assistance on places to stay or not, areas to avoid, new construction not only in Panama City but also in outlying areas.  He sent e-mails to us on several occasions about Panama, found Altos del Maria that he felt would be worth seeing and took us there, sent us information and CD with information.  Gina sent us real estate magazines from Panama as well as a magazine that discussed other things about Panama, which were thoughtfully wrapped, showing their constant attention to detail, professionalism and genuine concern about us.   

 

We were able to discuss the trip with David both via e-mail and by telephone. He promptly returned our calls, and answered even the simplest questions that had nothing to do with real estate but more to do with  strangers in a strange land.  Originally, David had arranged for another agent in Panama to take us around bu then David and Gina flew to Panama City on the morning of our arrival for us, and even though their plane came in quite early in the morning and we didn't land until 9:30 P.M., Gina and David's brother were there to pick us up and take us to the hotel.  Over the course of the next week, they took care of us in every detail imaginable, rented a vehicle, took us to see property, assisted in a rental car in David, even helped negotiate for our souveniers, as my Spanish isn't exactly fluent.  They took us to the Albrook Airport for our trip to Boquette and were so concerned about our safety, they provided a cell phone and chargers for us to use to call them with any problems (which we did) and to be sure that we safely arrived at our destination.  When we had any difficulties or questions, it was David or Gina that we called.  They even insisted that I call my brother back in Florida so that I could tell him of our enthusiasm.

 

Our trip would have been entirely different if we did not have David and Gina there for us from the beginning.  We were treated and felt like family, getting to know David's brother Eleaszar as well.  RE/MAX is very fortunate to have David and Gina Herrera and their importance in the International Real Estate market cannot be overemphasized, especially in Panama.  Thank you so much for recommending them to us and know that they provide the same courtesy, respect, and professionalism that you have always done and referrals from you and any other agents (RE/MAX or not) will receive the same attention to excellent customer service and detail that you expect.  Harold and I recommend them without any hesitation whatsoever.   For others that express interest in Panama, please feel free to share our experiences and recommendations of David and Gina.
